Mentoring Practice

1st in the UK – ‘Becoming the 1st Level 3 Qualified Mentor in the UK’

Level 3 Award in Mentoring Practice

Now I’m not one for chasing qualifications, I prefer to build experience over paper work, however, since I have been working as a mentor for several years now I was eager to find out if what I was doing is well practiced in the field of mentoring? If there was any other angle I could take from a qualification that I may add benefit in my daily practice? And if a qualification could help me to influence results whilst I’m mentoring? And by doing this course I achieved all this and more.

The course is hosted by the ‘i-academy’ and it was perfect for me because the course was a blended learning course. The support team are excellent and I was only ever an email away from Bev and the team to help guide me through the requirements of the course. Some of the course I could compete in my own time from home and some of it in the face to face contact time I had with the course tutors. During the face to face contact on the course I was so inspired by Julie & Alan that they gave me a new view of mentoring and helped me to explore another level to mentoring that I was too busy doing to see!

I’m always looking to sharpen my focus as a mentor and a coach, I’m always looking to build a clearer understanding of how I can achieve those breakthroughs in my work and I’m always striving to understand my craft!
